The most important thing you’ve designed to date:

OZA DESIGN

Our first furniture and lighting collection “WARRIOR” launched last year. We started this journey thirteen years ago. The name “WARRIOR” concludes a keen and delicate fight given with passion, courage, ambition, and persistence against all the obstacles that stood in our way. It reflects the inspirations coming from our deepest selves, our histories, the heritage of our ancestors and the emotions that these make us feel. For these reasons, this collection creates the forms of today and the future by standing firmly and proudly on the heritage gifted to us from the past. Our first collection is dedicated to all the “warriors” of today, who struggle against all sorts of impossibilities in the real world with darkness in every realm.

A project you are working on now:

OZA DESIGN

We're thrilled to be involved in a multitude of exciting projects spanning the globe. In London, our residential work encompass prestigious addresses such as the Chelsea Townhouse, Kensington Duplex, Marylebone Mews, and Battersea Penthouse. Across the Atlantic, we're working on the Brooklyn Townhouse Project in New York, and venturing further south, we're designing a summer house in the picturesque South of France. Additionally, our work extends to restaurant and hotel branding and concept creation in London.

What constitutes great design:

Everyone will share a different view on this question. For us, a great design is only reached when you have a balance of aesthetics and function.

Favourite material to work with:

oza design

For us, the raw material comes first. The colour and the pattern of a natural material will always look and age better than a man-made finish. From timber to metal, we prefer to sublime the imperfection of a material rather than a superficial shine.

Penthouse or townhouse:

Townhouses. For all our projects, we build our design and narrative around the existing soul of the property. Penthouses are always more challenging as they are mostly newly built, and we prefer the design not to compete against the view which is the real interest of this type of property.
