I am currently developing the Bohemian Collection (its name refers to the song Bohemian Rhapsody), my new sofa that will be in a curve and dressed in an incredible purple velvet Sultan of the house Lelièvre. It's an Invisible Collection exclusive.

What is a part of Jerome Bugara that you should not do without?

My Amelia armchair, I love it so much. It fits everywhere, it is elegant and refined. It's comfortable and so present when it is in one room. It is the perfect alliance between marble and Christophe Delcourt curly fabric, in short if I can not do without it, you should not either. It’s a little gem.

What do you do when you are not working?

I work a lot because my work is a passion but when I don't work I take care of my children that I love. Amelia is my daughter’s first name. They are my greatest source of joy and inspiration.

A project or a piece you are most proud of?

jerome bugara

I am very proud of the May wine cellar. We imagined this project as a family.  My wife’s cousin runs the magnificent lace factory in Caudry (Jean Bracq), which has the last lace weaving trades in Lyon and works with respect for French traditions. I imagined a wine cellar with curved glass walls and a bronze structure. in the double glass glazing we have integrated Caudry lace to push the refinement to its climax. it is an extremely feminine wine cellar with leather bottle holders and overflow (as a handbag would be). It's the perfect alliance between all French know-how.

Favorite hotel in the world:

The George V in Paris. Everything is refined, the floral decoration of Jeff Leatham, the art deco style is incredible. The table of the George is amazing because it's led by my very dear Friend Simone Zanoni.
